Bikes are one of the main forms people get around Seaside! There are several bike rental options, but this is the main Seaside one. Feel free to google around and price shop though as there may be more affordable options.
Kayaks and paddle boarding rentals and workout classes are available at the WaterColor BoatHouse, situated directly on the banks of Western Lake.
Neither of us are golfers, but we know some of you may be! We’ve included some highlights below but please feel free to look at others. There are lots of options in the area! Camp Creek Golf Club (designed by Tom Fazio); features a pure golf experience accentuated by a significant wetland system. Shark's Tooth Golf Club (designed by Greg Norman); located on the shores of Lake Powell, Florida's largest coastal dune lake, and offers a majestic wooded backdrop within acres of preserved wetlands. Also available is the public golf course, Origins Golf Club (designed by Davis Love III); a six-hole regulation course that alternatively plays as a ten-hole par 3 layout through the use of alternate tee boxes and auxiliary greens. Origins also offers FootGolf- a combination of golf and soccer.
This is probably Ashley's favorite restaurant in Seaside. They have an awesome happy hour from 3 - 5pm everyday with a great happy hour including tasty cocktails and cheap oysters. Also be sure to order the blue crab claws - they are not to be missed!
This is a Seaside staple! Right on the water, with the restaurant on the ground floor and a large open-air bar on the second floor, it's always a good time and the beautiful gulf views don't hurt!
Surfing Deer is technically in Old Seagrove - about four blocks from Seaside proper. The Gunns went here on New Year's Eve a few years ago and had a great time.
Located behind the Surfing Deer, this is a great option for more affordable fresh seafood. It's a faster option and a great lunch break option during a beautiful beach day.
The cutest little market you ever did see - and a huge Seaside staple. Right on the heart of the Seaside square, it's definitely worth a visit! We love to go for breakfast for their fresh muffins and breakfast sandwiches. They also have a deli with sandwiches in addition to selling actual groceries. Also don't miss out on the delicious iced coffee or tea, and if you're feeling adventurous - get one of their huge mimosas!
