We would love to tell you ONE story about how we met, but we both don't remember it the same way. So below you will read two versions. The Truth and Zach's version. "The Truth" version: What's with the air quotes? This IS the truth- anyways... I had recently started a new job and 2 weeks later they hired 2 new employees. One of them was Zach, a designer from San Antonio. Zach walked in very nervous with his shirt buttoned up all the way to the top. I personally knew what it was like to not only be new to a workplace, but also to a new city. I could also relate since I too had moved from San Antonio and losing an HEB is no joke, but I knew how to cope, and I thought I could help! So, I decided to go up to him and say, "Hi, I hear you're from San Antonio? Welcome!". He looked at me with a serious face and said, "Ya." Then he turned back to his screen and kept working. I turned around and thought to myself, how rude, good luck at Kroger! But of course, the friendly Andy in me went back a week later and tried again. I walked up to him and said, "Hey, I hear you are from SA", but this time before he could respond, I added, "Me too!!" He then smiled and responded in a more friendly manner. We talked and bonded over the best thing in the world... TACOS and the second best thing, HEB. We were friends for a few months and then he asked me out to dinner and the art museum. The rest is history! Zach's version: There are two sides to every story... I DON'T REMEMBER BEING THAT RUDE when I first met my future wife, but I probably was reserved and quiet, since I was the new guy at work who had just moved from his hometown of San Antonio. But the more Andy interacted with me, the more we began to connect over things like our San Antonio roots, our love of TACOS, being creatives and a whole lot more. Once we started dating, I fell in love with her pretty quickly. 4 1/2 beautiful, crazy, adventurous years later, here we are planning our WEDDING and I couldn't be happier!
