Below is the latest COVID protocols for Hawaiian travel: Individuals fully vaccinated in the United States or its Territories may enter Hawaiʻi without pre-travel testing/quarantine starting the 15th day after the completion of their vaccination. The vaccination record document must be uploaded onto Safe Travels and printed out prior to departure and the traveler must have a hard copy in hand when arriving in Hawaiʻi. The State of Hawai‘i will also accept vaccine records that are digitally validated by Digital Health Pass Partners (AZOVA, CLEAR and CommonPass). Travelers who use one of the State’s partners to link their digitally validated vaccine records with Safe Travels may enjoy expedited processing at the airport (no secondary visual inspection of paper vaccine records). Bridgette was on a family vacation on Kauai's beautiful north shore for her mom's birthday. Andy, who had a week off between jobs, was enjoying his 'fun-employment' on island in the same place. MJ (Bridgette's mom) wanted to go on a helicopter ride, the Summers family was assigned to a chopper that held six - Bridgette, her sister, her brother-in-law, her dad, and her mom, leaving room for one...Andy drove up solo, a perfect fit for the group. After an exhilarating flight, some awkward pleasantries, and MJ attempting to play match-maker by snapping the below awesome (awkward) pic, the groups went their separate ways. No phone numbers were exchanged. MJ was in disbelief and thought Bridgette had missed a perfect opportunity..."that could have been your husband!" may have even been exclaimed. As fate would have it, later that night, Andy was at Brent's (Bridgette's dad) favorite bar (Tahiti Nui - highly recommend) - and as the Summers family walked in, MJ spotted Andy and cornered him shouting, "Andrew, Andrew, stay there, we'll come to you!!" from across the bar. Bridgette and Andy were set up on an impromptu first date. The two bonded over Mai Tais and pineapple pizza...the rest as they say, is history!
