Andrew and Melissa met at a local brewery on Valentine’s Day 2019. Andrew asked Melissa if she wanted to go listen to a local band that was playing there that night. She almost said no because who has a first date on Valentine’s Day?? She is so happy she didn’t!!

It had been a particularly trying week so Andrew suggested going for a drive to the mountains for the day. That’s nothing new as they did that frequently. They hit up a festival in Brevard and of course a brewery before heading to Asheville. The plan in Asheville was to check out a few more breweries then head home. The last brewery they stopped at was Sierra Nevada. Andrew suggested they go for a walk on the trails behind the brewery. It was there he got down on one knee and asked Melissa to marry him. Of course Melissa said YES!
