Question

When and where should I book lodging?

Answer

The Inn at Herrington Harbour is located onsite, and has some guest rooms and suites available to rent, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We have also reserved a room block for the nights of 8/17 & 8/18 at the Rod & Reel Resort in Chesapeake Beach, MD under a reservation 'JENA GREENE & ANDREW WARBURTON.' There will be shuttle accommodations to and from both of these hotels. We recommend booking as soon as possible as there could be other weddings on site during this weekend. Also located nearby are several additional lodging options, including: The Guest Quarters at The Inn, North Beach, MD Chesapeake Beach Hotel & Spa, Chesapeake Beach, MD Anchored Inn, Deale, MD Holiday Inn Express, Prince Frederick, MD Courtyard Marriott, Annapolis, MD Dozens of Airbnbs & VRBOs in the area

Question

Will there be transportation from the hotels?

Answer

A shuttle bus provided by Thoroughbred Sedan, Van, and Bus will pick up guests from the Rod N Reel Resort and depart at 4:55pm. The shuttle will top at the Inn at Herrington Harbor to pick up additional guests at 5:10pm, before dropping guests off at the venue at 5:50pm. The shuttle bus will conduct a second lap, picking up guests at Rod N Reel Resort at 5:30pm, the Inn at Herrington Harbor at 5:45pm, and dropping them off at the venue at 5:15pm The bus will stop on the way to the venue at the Inn at Herrington Harbor to pick up additional guests and depart at 5:10pm. All guests will be dropped off by the shuttle at the venue at 5:15pm. The shuttle will remain onsite during the event and will return guests to the Inn at Herrington Harbor and the Rod N Reel Resort at the end of the evening.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes. Our venue has ample, free parking located immediately beside the Paradise Ballroom.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our evening event respectfully requests cocktail attire for all guests.

Is the event outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, starting promptly at 6:00pm. The cocktail hour and reception will take place with access to a covered tent with cooling systems.

Are there any styles or colors you would prefer me to wear?

Answer

Our dress code is 'elegant garden party' and so we ask that you get a little creative and colorful with your cocktail wedding attire. Think floral prints, pinstripes, sunhats, linen trousers, and summer suits.

Are kids permitted?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children under 18 – thank you for your understanding.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You know it. We will have an open bar for all guests aged 21+. Be sure to bring your ID.
