It's happening!!!

We like to tell people that it was fate for Andrew and I to meet. It was a chilly October evening and after a long day at work, the last thing I wanted to do was leave my cozy apartment. Sadly for me, I had skipped my lacrosse team's last social event and my roommate forced me to attend the party that the guy's team was hosting. I reluctantly went along and while I complained the entire drive there, it turned out to be one of the greatest nights of my life. Upon entering, I noticed Andrew standing in the living room with a couple of his teammates; he was a coach and therefore wasn't supposed to be there, but his roommate had bribed him to go (thanks Steven). I thought that I recognized him and mentioned to my roommate that I thought he was cute, but that I was way to afraid to go talk to him. Kim being Kim, she ran over and started chatting with him. I rolled my eyes at her and proceeded to go play a game with a few friends. The next thing I knew, there was a hand on my back and Andrew leaned in and said "hey, did the power ever come back on at work?" Totally shocked and confused, I responded with "who the hell are you??" We laugh about that all the time now. Lucky for me, Andrew didn't take offense to my abruptness and insisted that I give him my phone number so he could "make sure I got home safely" (I give him props for being smooth) Flash forward to almost 3 years later, I am so thankful for leaving the comfort of my apartment that night, and for Andrews awful pick up lines :)
