Enjoy a Wisconsin classic by going to the Pine Ridge Friday night fish fry. We recommend going much earlier than you plan on eating the wait is long but well worth it.

Enjoy a local brewery in a historic building near downtown Hayward.

Birkie Ridge Trailhead

This 3 mile trail is part of a larger system that hosts a huge cross-country ski race in the winter. In the summer you can catch some beautiful vistas of the Namekagon River, and explore some side trips if you like. Full trail system map can be found here https://www.birkie.com/trail/

Kayak or Canoe the Namekagon River

This location is for Jack's Canoe Rental but another service is through the Hayward KOA.

Sunrise Bay Campground

Along with camping, Sunrise Bay Campground offers limited daily or 1/2 day pontoon and fishing boat rentals. We recommend you call in advance to secure a spot during the busy summer season.

The Whistle Punk

Enjoy craft beer and coffee and this local cafe located in downtown Stone Lake.

Stone Lake Wetland Park

Enjoy a nice walk through the wetland park which connects to downtown Stone Lake where you will find some great antique shops and pubs to enjoy.
