In August 2018, while both working at Washington State University in Spokane, WA, Andrew and Breezy were introduced to one another by a mutual friend, Brandon Henry. After their meeting, Andrew added Breezy on Facebook, then messaged her, saying, "Thanks for accepting the Facebook friendship. Have a good weekend!" Breezy clearly saw this as too nice and a red flag so she promptly ghosted him for two months. While Brandon insists it wasn't his goal to set up the pair, when Breezy pressed him about the issue, he said "No, but I should! You both love dogs and your best friends are your parents!" Instantly, she was sold. Two months after their first meeting, Breezy surprised Andrew on campus the next time she saw him, getting butterflies so strong, she quickly and very awkwardly ended the conversation and sprinted up the stairs to her office, realizing how interested she was. Within a week, they went on their first date to Manito Tap House. Truthfully, from there, their romance blossomed quickly and the two were definitely smitten. Fast forward four years to October 2022, Breezy has finished her degree and has been working as a full-time therapist for a little over a year, Andrew has secured a promotion at WSU and is months away from finishing his Bachelor's in Information Technology, celebrating 6 years at the university. The couple decided to take a long weekend to celebrate their upcoming 4-year anniversary to Kalaloch, along the Washington coast, using their beloved rooftop tent. During this trip, Andrew and Breezy walked up and down the beach, taking in the cold, foggy air and searching for sand dollars. Little did Breezy know, Andrew was fiddling with a ring in his pocket, surprising her with an intimate proposal at sunset. The answer was an easy "YES" and they got to enjoy their first weekend as an engaged couple around the fire, making smores, and exploring the Olympic Peninsula. On December 18, 2022, the couple chose to get the formality aspect of the marriage out of the way and elope in a private ceremony. The two asked three friends to help them through the process as they exchanged deeply personalized and hilarious vows, written by the fantastic Liz Fleming with Tyler and Kim Corcoran serving the dual roles of witnesses and impromptu photographers. This has seemed to take the pressure off of the wedding planning experience, a happy bonus! Even with Andrew and Breezy legally married, they still want the chance to celebrate with all of their family and friends. This is where you come in! The couple hope you'll be able to join them on September 16, 2023, for their formal *brunch* wedding (because it's the most superior meal of the day) as they exchange more vows and promises to one another!
