We are swelling with the wave of anticipation!

Dear Heavenly Father, we first thank you for the greatest example of love, your sacrifice for us on the cross. We also want to thank you that you continue to love us, despite us. We pray for the reader. May they and their family find hope and peace in You. We pray that You bless them as they bless others. We pray that they always pursue forgiveness and love as the first resort. We pray that seeing our love for one another that they will be inspired to rekindle the flame of their first love with their spouse. We pray that the singles who read this will know your love more deeply than they ever had and trust your plan for their romantic life. We pray that in all we, as your people, say and do we glorify You and You only.

I moved to the Nashville area, and soon found an apartment owned by an elderly couple. Their granddaughter (Mikayla) was having a birthday party and invited me. When she and her boyfriend Landon came to pick me up I opened the back door to see Becca sitting across the car. I was struck immediately with her beauty and soft voice. We didn't interact much during the party, but afterwards we went to Mikayla's house where she and Mikayla began to destroy Landon and I in Super Mario. I guess you could say that was the moment I first fell for her. There have been 1,000 moments of me falling since then. I learned her family, her history, her fears, what makes her laugh, what makes her cry, and much in between. After dating her for some time I began to feel a peace with her. I thought about how I wanted her to be next to me in my biggest moments, and how I wanted to be next to her in her biggest moments too. So, with a ring size and her parents permission I proposed with the help of "I cross my heart" by George Strait and the live action Cinderella soundtrack. She and I danced under the string lights and a clear sky. We danced as I sang "I cross my heart". My heart was pounding as "Who is she" from the Cinderella soundtrack played. When the song hit it's peak I got down on one knee, held out a ring, and asked Becca Kate Wilson to marry me. She said yes! We have since been hard at work to prepare a ceremony that displays our love and personalities to our friends and family. We cannot wait to share our special moment, and the rest of our lives together, with you.

I met Andrew in the back seat of Mikayla's car on the way to her birthday party at Top Golf, once he hopped in the backseat I knew it was a setup & if anyone knows me they know that I hate to be set up with anyone also I thought that he was either 17 or taken so I really didn't think of him that way. We talked a little on the way there but were in different bays so didn't really talk much but after Mikayla & Landon (her boyfriend now husband) knew that we wanted to hang out a little longer so we played Mario Bros at her house. After that Andrew started following me on Instagram & we started talking for about a month while seeing each other at Long Hollow Young Adults on Tuesdays. After a few trial & errors of trying to go out we finally went on our first date on March 6th where we decided to go to the lake in Hendersonville to jump in, I wasn't actually serious about jumping in but Andrew was. I couldn't believe how brave & crazy this boy was & in that moment you could say that I fell for him. I fell for how sweet he was, not just to me but to everyone he ever met. I could see Christ in him through his love & through his encouragement to others. He has grown in almost a year to be my bestest friend & my greatest love. After about a month of dating Andrew, seeing how easily he blended with my family & friends, meeting his family, how kind & welcoming they were to me, I knew for sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. We got engaged under string lights & stars in my back yard while dancing to George Strait & Cinderella (weird combo but that's me & Andrew for ya) on October 22nd & have been planning this special day for all of our family & close friends to witness & share.
