Officiant
McLain is single-handedly the most thoughtful, generous, supportive, and fun person one could hope to meet. McLain is the magnetic social force of our friend group; he makes us get off our couches by planning incredible group outings and even better parties. We're talking legendary levels here. Not only is he a good time, he's always willing to go adventuring. He and Andrew have known each other since childhood, and he and Hope bonded instantly. His sharp wit and seemingly boundless energy brings an instant smile to one's face. With his creative and sweet nature (and flair for the dramatic), it's no wonder that he will be bringing the bride and groom together. There's no better man for the job.
Maid of Honor
Brooke might be the most stylish person you'll ever meet. Boy, does she know her angles. Brooke has been Hope's best bud since birth (they are sisters, after all). As Brooke would describe it, "A1 since Day 1" (though there was a time when they stole each other's clothes without asking). If there's one thoughtful person you know in this world that has your back, it's Brooke. She's hilarious, heartfelt, klutzy, and has an absolutely dynamic personality. She talks at the speed of light; her enthusiasm, loyalty, and charm are unparalleled. Brooke loves makeup, doing her nails, and making art. She's currently a student at MTSU, and will likely be ruling the world someday.
Best Man
Dan is one of Andrew’s oldest and closest friends. The two were inseparable all throughout school and even kept toothbrushes at each other's houses due to how often they would stay over. Dan is an accomplished musician and brilliant engineer whose intellect is only matched by his humility and kindness. Andrew had the honor of officiating when Dan and his wife Kirsten got married in 2017. When Dan isn’t busy making LASERs (seriously), he enjoys 3D-Printing and pursuing the perfect cup of coffee.
Bridesmaid
Jenny is a certified badass. Not only are she and Hope business partners, they're best friends, kickboxing buddies, and flip-cup champions. Unsurprisingly, Jenny and Hope met doing events in college, and they love doing events together now as Siler + West. Jenny's creativity, optimism, honesty, and commitment make her one of the best people Hope has ever had the pleasure of knowing. She encourages people to be their best, and makes a killer garlic bread (as everyone knows, good garlic bread is the tenet of any solid friendship). Jenny loves good beer, fantasy novels, her squishy dog Honey, and trying new hobbies. She and Hope have that in common, and Jenny is always down to let Hope drag her to something new and crazy. She's a true ride-or-die.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is a ray of sunshine! Seriously, she lights up a room. She and Hope bonded their freshman year of college over their curly hair and desire to study at ungodly hours of the morning. Legend has it that Sarah is the most compassionate and understanding person alive, and her friends can confirm. She is always there for her friends and never judges unless you decline her invite for tacos. In fact, her love for her friends is only overshadowed by her love for her cat, Lucy (short for Lucifer), which is understandable. She's diligent, cheerful, and to top it off, a preposterously good cook/baker. If Fetty Wap or Beyonce is playing, you'll find Sarah dancing her heart out and singing in a very pronounced Chicago accent. It's wonderful.
Bridesmaid
Callie is an incredible musician who performs under the name Burnsie. In addition to being super talented, Callie is always ready to hang out, binge Letterkenny, talk about your wildest dreams, and listen to your weirdest secrets with open ears. She's the mastermind behind the best absurd laughs Hope has ever had, and her spontaneity is unrivaled. She's pretty punk, not gonna lie. Hope and Callie met at the start of their freshman year of college and they bonded over their love for French films and the Rocky Horror Picture Show. They've dressed up as Rocky Horror characters and attended the Halloween live show at the Belcourt Theater for 7 years straight now. Guess which character is Callie's favorite?
Bridesmaid
Megan is classic in every sense of the word. She and Hope met their sophomore year in college. Megan's wit and perspective are marvelous, as is her love for Captain America (or rather, Chris Evans), homemade cookies & cocoa, and curling up with a good book. She knows exactly when to make you laugh, and exactly when to show you how to take things seriously. She's a gem, truly. She's the self-described "mom friend", but that doesn't mean she doesn't know how to have a good time. In fact, she knows how to have the best time. Megan is wildly competitive, makes the best funny faces, cries a little when she sees fluffy dogs, and is a big fan of luxury sports cars. She didn't even get mad when Hope hid over 300+ photos of Nicholas Cage in Megan's bedroom once, and that takes gumption.
Groomsman
Pete and Andrew met in an Audio Engineering class at Belmont and instantly bonded. Although neither of them wound up in the music industry, their loves of cars, technology, video games, photography, and learning anything someone will take the time to teach them has kept them in touch just about nonstop for the past 7 years. Pete always has something interesting and new to talk about and his witty humor is a constant source of double-takes and belly laughs. His peer mentorship and sage advice have been invaluable to Andrew who is over-the-moon to have him back in the Southeast after several years spent in Boston.
Groomsman
Colin is the life of every party. He and Andrew were roommates freshman year at Rose-Hulman where they both pledged ΔΣΦ and grew their mutual appreciation for hockey, Taylor Swift, and the CW’s Supernatural. When he’s not busy dominating fantasy sports or writing his sports blog, Colin enjoys craft beers and oh, you know, just competing at the highest level of professional play for Ultimate Frisbee (Go Mechanix!).
Groomsman
John is a man of many hats. Swing dancer, wood turner, bowtie aficionado, strategic board game enthusiast. He is as kind a friend as his interests are varied. John attended highschool with Andrew, Dan, and McLain where the former three participated in a slapdash attempt of a Science Olympiad team and fumbled their way into the state competition. John’s joyous demeanor and can-do attitude make him a pleasure to be around; just hope you're not in his way the next time you play Catan.
Ring Bearer
Everett is Hope's little brother and definitively the best Lego building buddy in the world. He and Hope share a love of 60s music and mythology. He's gonna look so cute in a suit.
