We met on a dating app: Hinge! For those that dont know, it connects potential matches through mutual Facebook friends. At the time, Andrew's roommate was a classmate of Hannah's from the Naval Academy. Andrew was able to verify that Hannah wasn't crazy before asking her on a date!

After a month of getting to know each other over the phone, it was finally time for our first date! Since Andrew was new in town, Hannah took him to see all the best parts of Pensacola. We ate tacos from El Asador on the tailgate of Andrew's truck, then headed down to Pensacola Beach for some Diesel Fuels at Flounders Bar. Then we jumped in the water and watched the sunset!

Andrew wasn't exactly sneaky when it came to the proposal. He made the decision and went for it! He remembered Hannah's ring size and contacted one of her favorite ring designers from Instagram. Hannah's parents flew in to stay with her for 10 days and Andrew made the drive from Pensacola to Jacksonville to visit Hannah and ask for Steve's blessing. With a resounding 'Yup' from Steve, Andrew drove back to Pensacola to pick up the ring. Meanwhile, Hannah was nervous for her upcoming Half Marathon at Disney World that Sunday. That whole week Steve kept saying "It's going to be a big week!". It drove Debbie nuts because she knew something was up, but Hannah thought he was teasing her about the half marathon. At the end of the week, Andrew joined them in Orlando for a weekend at Disney World. Andrew and Hannah's parents cheered on their favorite wanna-be Disney Princess through her run and let her sleep on the ride home to Jacksonville. Later that night, Steve and Debbie went to a local beach bar and Andrew convinced Hannah to take a walk on the beach before meeting them at the bar. After making sure that there was not a soul in sight to watch what he was about to do, Andrew got down on one knee and asked Hannah to be his wife (awww)! Hannah kinda saw it coming since Andrew had asked her the week before if she'd rather be proposed to at Disney post run or at the beach. Both Andrew and Debbie got mad at Steve for thinking he could be sneaky and foreboding and almost giving the secret away!
