If you want a classic Wisconsin experience, go to Lakefront Brewery for a beer and a basket or three of cheese curds. From there, you can take the pedestrian bridge across the Milwaukee River and bar-hop along Brady Street.

The Milwaukee Public Market is a food hall with a plethora of Wisconsin goodies to try. Stop for lunch or dinner and then walk south down Water Street to wind your way through the Third Ward, a shopping and bar district of Milwaukee.
