Things To Do

We are having our wedding in a cabin in the middle of the Snoqualmie Mt Baker National Park! We are full-filling our "PNW How I Met Your Mother" wedding dream! There will be free time to explore this gorgeous mother nature! I will provide a list of popular hikes close by as well as lakes to take a fun dip. If the food we provide at the lodge does not accommodate your current diet than I will provide diners and coffee shops in the area as well.

Webb's Mountain Grill

1001 Washington 906, Snoqualmie Pass, WA 98068
, (425) 434-6725

Enjoy gourmet burgers, salads, and craft beers on tap from local breweries. Webb's has a cozy full-service bar upstairs, a main dining area on the first floor, and outdoor seating on the deck with beautiful views

Pie For the People NW

741 Washington 906, Snoqualmie Pass, WA 98068
, (425) 518-7799

The Commonwealth

10 Pass Life Way, Snoqualmie Pass, WA 98068
, (425) 434-0808

The Commonwealth serves up fresh, home cooked, locally sourced comfort food, cold beer, espresso & craft cocktails. Located at the top of Snoqualmie Pass, off Washington’s historic Route 906, the Commonwealth is the latest addition to The Pass Life. We are proud and excited to be part of the unique community at Snoqualmie Pass and to have the opportunity to create a great experience in the mountains to enjoy with friends and family. Meet up with friends for fresh coffee and house made pastries before hitting the hill, take in views of Guye Peak and enjoy a great meal while driving over The Pass, or have a family dinner in our warm, lively environment after a day in the mountains. There is now a place for you at Snoqualmie Pass.

Summit Pancake House

603 Washington 906, Snoqualmie Pass, WA 98068
, (425) 434-6249

Red Mountain Coffee

773 WA-906, Snoqualmie Pass, WA 98068
(425) 434-7337

This is my favorite coffee shop! This is a whole in the wall coffee shop I go to every single time I hike in the Snoqualmie Mt Baker National Park. They offer excellent espresso with signature coffee drinks, pizza, and assorted baked items. The best part of this store is that they sell PNW souvenirs!

Twin Falls Trailhead

Twin Falls Trailhead

Southeast 159th Street, North Bend, WA 98045

This is an easy hike - 2.6 miles round trip. This hike follows along a river to a very tall waterfall! Directions - To reach the main trailhead, drive east on I-90 to exit 34 (about 31 miles from Seattle). Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto 468th Avenue SE, and proceed a little more than half a mile to SE 159th Street. Turn left and continue another half mile where the road dead ends in the Twin Falls parking lot.

Franklin Falls Trailhead

Franklin Falls Trailhead

Denny Creek Trail, North Bend, WA 98045

Franklins Falls is an easy hike along a river to a grand waterfall! This hike is 2 miles roundtrip! Directions - On I-90 to exit 47 Denny Creek/Tinkham Road. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left and cross over the freeway. Go 0.2 miles and turn right at the stop sign onto Forest Road 58. The road crosses under the freeway, after driving 0.2 miles, turn left. Continue straight on for 2.9 miles and about a half mile past the Denny Creek Campground there is a large paved parking lot on the right that can accommodate about 60 cars.

Snow Lake Trailhead

Snow Lake Trailhead

Alpental Access Road, North Bend, WA 98045

This is a DIFFICULT hike! 7.5 miles roundtrip! This hike leads you up to a glacier lake! Perfect for a dip in crystal clear water. This hike would be ok on Friday or Sunday so you don't miss anything important. Try to be back by 6pm on Friday night for the Dinner Rehearsal. Directions - On I-90 to exit 52, signed for Snoqualmie Pass West. Turn left (north), crossing under the freeway. Take the second right, traveling 1.3 miles to the end of the road at the Alpental Ski Area parking lot.

Talapus Lake Trailhead

Talapus Lake Trailhead

North Bend, WA 98045

This is a MODERATE hike - 6.2 miles roundtrip! I would plan this hike on Friday or Sunday to give yourself plenty of time. If you plan to hike on Friday then plan to be back at the cabin by 6pm for the Dinner Rehearsal. Directions - On I-90 to exit 45. Turn left, and drive under the freeway on FR 9030. In 1 mile follow the road around to the right at a junction. Continue straight on a gravel, sometimes severely potholed road to the trailhead at the road's end. Northwest Forest Pass and Alpine Lakes Wilderness Permit required, both available at the trailhead.

Kendall Katwalk

Kendall Katwalk

Pacific Crest Trail, North Bend, WA 98045

TAKE PART OF THE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL! This hike is a part of the PCT! There is never a dull moment on the PCT. Being the PCT, this trail goes from Mexico to Canada - however this trail is special because it leads to lakes within the mountain range. This hike is considered HARD and DANGEROUS. The Kendal Katwalk claims it's name from travelers hiking along a narrow trailside off a cliff. Plan ahead with solid hiking shoes. I would plan this hike on Sunday to give yourself plenty of time. Directions - On I-90 to exit 52 - “West Summit”. At the end of the ramp, turn left under the freeway onto Alpental Rd. In just 0.1 mile, take the first right, unmarked but featuring a sign in Forest Service brown announcing the need for a parking pass. In another 0.1 mile, the road splits. To the right is the main parking lot, large enough for over 50 vehicles.
