During her senior year of high school, Andrea and her friends decided to head to Myrtle Beach for their last spring break trip together. Before they left, she learned that a few fellas would be there at the same time, and one would be Alex. She had seen him around school before and always thought he was super cute, so she was pretty excited to meet him. While in Myrtle, they celebrated Andrea's birthday, played putt-putt and hung out on the beach. By the end of the trip, she knew that he was special and so she went ahead and put her phone number in his phone just in case he felt the same way about her. A few days later, she received a text from him asking her on a date. Their first date was dinner at Salsaritas and a back-to-back movie feature. Since then, the rest of their relationship has definitely been an adventure! After high school, Andrea went to UNCW so they had a long distance relationship for 4 years. Alex visited often and their relationship grew the most during those years. While it wasn't always easy, they knew deep down they were meant to be. UNCW holds a special place in both of their hearts, which is why Alex decided to propose on campus underneath the Seahawk statue. After collage, Andrea came back to Greensboro so they could actually be a normal couple! Being in the same city still wasn't easy, but they always pushed through the ups and downs. On June 2, 2018, Alex decided to finally pop the question and of course, she said yes. Both of their mom's were there to help them celebrate the magical moment. In September 2018, Alex and Andrea purchased their first home together and now they are patiently waiting to become Mr. and Mrs. Exactly 11 years after meeting for the first time on a beach, they will say "I do" on their favorite beach surrounded by family and friends. The couple is very excited to have all of you join them on the special day and celebrate their love.
