We want to keep everyone in the loop and on the same page regarding our wedding details. Unfortunately, we we're forced to change some of the important details for our special day including the location. Please check under the "Schedule tab" to see the new address and times! With that being said, we had to also adjust our guest list to accommodate the new space. We are hoping you all understand and thank you for being patient with us while we figure everything out!
We were in the same major at Slippery Rock University when we first met. We shared a lot of classes and hobbies together which included going to the gym and eating pizza. We also shared a love for cannabis which we still share today. After a while of being good friends, Zach finally asked Andi to go on their first date. We went to Compadres, a Mexican restaurant in Grove City Pa. We were both so nervous on the first date that we didn't even eat the chips and salsa at the restaurant (who does that?). The date went great and we started going out together more and hanging out around campus more. We had a few consistent dates like the Zoo, the Drive- in, and The Camelot restaurant in Slippery Rock (which ended up being our spot for the whole summer).
We had a special date night planned that we had put on the calendar awhile back. Zach made a reservation at a restaurant and did not tell me where we were going so it could be a surprise. I thought I was in for a fancy date night but it was so much more. On the way down, traffic was bad and we started getting a little behind on Zach's timeline he had planned out for the night. He kept pushing back the time of the reservation by 10-15 minutes and then wanted to go up to Mt. Washington to take a picture before dinner, since we were all dressed up. I was worried about being late for our reservation so I just wanted to go straight there and was getting frustrated he insisted on going to get a picture all the way up on Mt. Washington. We parked on the side of the street and walked over to one of the outlooks overlooking Pittsburgh. I was walking behind him just trying to get this picture done and make it to dinner on time. Once we stepped onto the overlook, Zach said "We aren't here for a picture." and I realized what was happening. He had his amazing photographer friend Liz Capuano and her Husband JP running across the street taking pictures us getting engaged. I couldn't believe I didn't see any of it coming. Then Zach still surprised me with a romantic dinner overlooking the city. It was the most perfect thing I could've asked for.
