As most modern couples, we met online. A night around the fire pit with her sister and brother-in-law and Lauren’s Bumble profile was born. What a profile it was, as she and Taylor matched on the first night of swiping. The first date evolved into the first beer and later talking each other out of crashing a kid’s birthday party in the same shopping area where we were having our coffee. Love for family, friends, adventure, and travel showed the stars had aligned and we were smitten. At the end of the first month, they went on a day date to a tulip field and that is now one of their favorite flowers. Music is also a combining force in their lives. After a while, Taylor pulled the smooth move of creating a playlist to add songs daily whenever he thought of Lauren. Eventually, Lauren joined in as well. Adding songs for Taylor to find and they both waited eagerly to see what the other would find for them. They say you don’t really know a person until you travel with them. Lauren and Taylor took this advice way too seriously and went everywhere with each other. Four months in, they took to Toronto for a good friend’s wedding. Coincidently, this was the first place they danced to “Tennessee Whiskey” which is now their song. With all their friends spread out, it took a while to travel and meet everyone. Trips to New York, Memphis, and Tokyo were just to name a few. Our love has been a whirlwind and we’re just different enough to keep a lifetime interesting. Taylor planned a special NYE in Memphis where he asked Lauren to marry him with fireworks in the background. We hope you will all come and join us as we celebrate our Happily Ever After.
