We went to the same high school together and we had mutual friends. His dad and his uncle both worked at the school so they knew me and my sister. Then we officially met at a club when I passed right by him purposely and ignored that he was there. The next day he messages me on Instagram asking if I was at that club that night. And I said yes. Then he goes “why didn’t you say hi to me? I don’t bite then I said “what if I didn’t want to say hi to you.” Then it began from there.

On the weekend of our anniversary my friends and I had planned to go out to a nice brunch with my friends, they made sure I had my hair done, nails, outfit, everything done. They tricked me and as we were arriving to brunch they put a blind fold on me. Held my hand down stairs and as I took the blindfold off I saw Gerson and our family near the water next to a heart arch with flowers and lights saying “Will you marry me?” As I walked down, Gerson hugged me and was so nervous to read what he wanted to tell me. So he got down on one knee and and asked me to marry him and I said “ YES”
