Question

What's the Ceremony Live Stream Link?

Answer

Copy and paste the link below in your web browser: http://www.nuefilm.com/live/nefertitiandallen

Question

What protocols for COVID are you planning to have for your wedding?

Answer

We will be abiding by the local government's gathering rules, and will require that all guests attending the wedding in-person to either take a COVID test the week of the wedding and provide proof of a negative result or proof of vaccination. Please email your name and results/proof of vaccination to anandersonaffair@gmail.com

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We appreciate all of the love and enthusiasm! Due to space and COVID restrictions however, we ask that you only bring a guest if your invitation specifically states that you can bring a guest.

Question

Can kids come?

Answer

Parents, we want you to be able to let your hair down and enjoy yourselves! While we love children and enjoy their company, this event will be child-free.

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Absolutely, we will be planning for the amount of people that respond to their invitations. We unfortunately cannot make accommodations for people that haven't responded. Additionally, we ask guests to only respond for the amount of people specifically on their invitation.

Question

I RSVP'd yes, but things have changed. Can I send someone in my place?

Answer

We are only accommodating guests on the guest list. If for any reason, you aren't able to attend anymore, please call Allen or Nefertiti as soon as possible. Hopefully you can still catch the live stream of the ceremony!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the attire is Black-Tie Optional. Men can wear a formal suit and tie, or a tuxedo. Ladies can wear a long evening gown, a dressy suit, or a cocktail dress. Dress to impress in your evening's best! No jeans, polos, sneakers, or t-shirts please. For inspiration, feel free to refer to our attire on our Save the Date magnet.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you're looking for convenience, the Mayflower is the ideal hotel for your stay during the wedding weekend, as this is the host hotel. The Marriott Courtyard in Foggy Bottom is also a great option, and a 20 minute drive from the church and 6 minute drive away from the reception venue. Please find additional details in the "Travel" Tab at the top of the page. To take advantage of the group rate, you must book your room(s) before June 11th.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we're registered. You can find our registry by clicking the "Registry" Tab toward the top of this webpage. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony about 20 minutes before 1pm so we can have everyone seated and the ceremony can start promptly. If you’re running late, it happens! Please enter the church through the handicap entrance on the left side of the church.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the Ceremony, there is very limited parking so we're asking for guests that don't need special travel accommodations to take a taxi or Uber/Lyft. There is street parking, but it is scarce. One suggestion is to park in the parking garage across the street from The Mayflower or valet at the Mayflower and then carpool via Uber/Lyft to and from the ceremony. For the Reception, there is garage parking across the street from The Mayflower as well as valet parking available in front of The Mayflower Hotel.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you please stay in your seats while taking photos with small devices (no iPads, tripods, or large items please), and use your best discretion to not interrupt the ceremony. Throughout the day, please be mindful of the wedding photographers' locations to avoid interrupting any photos. When posting, please be sure to use our hashtag #ANAndersonAffair so we can keep track of everyone’s posts and enjoy them with you!

Question

I don’t know which entree to pick! Any details to help?

Answer

The chicken is a bone-in chicken breast. The beef is a grilled filet. The fish is Atlantic Halibut. The veggie is a cannelloni. Hope this helps!

Question

Where can I find your Washingtonian article?

Answer

Here! https://www.washingtonian.com/2020/07/23/an-ultra-stylish-engagement-session-plus-the-couple-shares-their-wedding-postponement-story/

Question

So what’s going on with the wedding?

Answer

We are closely monitoring COVID-19 and how it may affect our wedding. We don't know what's ahead, but your health and safety are our priority. As such, we are not able to have all of our guests attend in person as originally planned. We will be live streaming the wedding ceremony for those that aren't able to physically be there, and will be sending something to you in the mail in the next few weeks in order to celebrate with us remotely. Please keep checking the website for updates on the link to the live stream!
