Analise and Tyler met while both working at UPS in February 2017. Analise introduced herself and said hello, and it was pretty much in that moment that Tyler knew he wanted to be with her. After a few months of being friendly, they fell into the same friend group and started going to breakfast together after their shift. Sometime in March Tyler hit his head pretty hard and had to be pulled from work for a while. This was when Analise realized how much he meant to her while she sat worrying about his potential concussion. They finally made it official in April 2017.
This is a long story, so buckle up. Tyler had a sweet, romantic plan for the proposal. It would have been wonderful and Analise probably would have cried like a baby if it had gone according to plan, but perfect isn't really their style. You see, the problem was, Tyler made a lot of assumptions about how things were going to happen, and you know what they say about assumptions. Start at the apartment. Analise, Tyler, and his best friend Justin all come back from Emo Night. Analise then proceeds to let the dog out because "she had been home alone all night." This wouldn't have been a problem if Tyler had not put the ring on the dog's collar. They fought about why the dog couldn't use the potty. Tyler had also assumed the lights would be on inside because the apartment is equip with smart lights, but they weren't responding so it was pitch black inside and outside. Tyler got down and exclaimed "What's that on Winnie's neck??' Analise, oblivious to the ring, said "Uhh her collar?" This went on for another minute or so until Analise began thinking the dog had a tumor and was dying because of course she did. Tyler got down one on knee, pulled the ring around to the front of the collar and said "No, Ana, WHAT IS THIS?" She then proceeded to understand what was happening and was prepared for a big romantic speech, but at this point Tyler was so flustered from everything going wrong all he got out was "Will you...Do you...Will you just marry me?" Analise said, and here's the kicker, "Uhhh not right now!?" Tyler said "No not right now." Analise followed with "Oh then yeah, eventually!" And they have been happily ever engaged since then. Oh, and the dog doesn't have any neck tumors.
