During that summer. I was working at Sky Ranch Camps helping lead their day camp program. I had planned on going to the Jon Bellion concert on June 28th with my best friend, but found out some of my college counselors had tickets as well! We decided to meet up all together at the concert and they brought along Quinn! We sat on the floor waiting for the concert to start, shared camp stories, and at the end of the night he asked for my number!!!

We were in Arkansas trying to spend some time outside during this quarantine season. Quinn took me to Pour Jons in the morning for coffee and waffle wednesday; my favorite way to start the day! Afterwards we went hiking in Oklahoma and returned to kayak on lake Wedington. We had kayaked at that same lake in September the first time I visited AR. After racing in the water and getting soaked, Quinn docked our kayaks and asked me to follow him. He proposed with an altoid box at the top of a small hill while playing Jon Bellion in the background.

Due to Covid-19 we have decided to have a small ceremony with our immediate family in Emory, TX. We are thankful for how each of you have been a part of our lives and are saddened by not being able to share this with you in person. BUT, we are going to LIVESTREAM (6PM CT) the whole thing on Facebook, so keep an eye out for the link on this website!!! Quinn just moved into our apartment in Garland, TX and I just got hired at Bush Elementary to teach Dual Language Kindergarten in the fall! Big things are happening and we are so thankful for the sweet gifts the Lord gives us. We understand things could be financially difficult, but if the Lord puts it on your heart to give we have a registry of things that will help us merge our lives together. If you think of us, please pray! Pray for our future marriage, for Quinn's employment, for my teaching certification exams, for covid-19 and for how the Lord is still so good through it all.
