For the classic Nashville experience, of course, we have to recommend Broadway! Our favorite time to go is usually during the day. Some of our favorite bars are ACME, The Stage, Tin Roof, and FGL House. If you're looking for a quick bite before you head on to Broadway or if you get hungry while there, Fifth and Broadway has Hattie B's Hot Chicken (a Nashville hot chicken staple), Blanco Cocina + Cantina (Mexican cuisine) and Assembly Food Hall with a variety of dining options. While you're on Broadway, be sure to head to the Pedestrian Bridge where you can see a beautiful view of the Nashville skyline. If you do not want to drink on Broadway but rather want a more comprehensive view of the "best of" Nashville, we would recommend looking into a hop on/hop off bus tour! This is a great option: https://www.getyourguide.com/nashville-l1279/nashville-hop-on-hop-off-trolley-t72073/
Arrington is a beautiful vineyard location located ~30-40 minutes outside of Nashville. During the month of October, Arrington offers wine flight tastings, charcuterie board picnic items, live music (Saturdays and Sundays only from 3-7pm), and food trucks (Fridays only from 5-9pm). Their Vineyard house offers a food and wine pairing experience and also group tasting experiences that require reservation. Please visit http://www.arringtonvineyards.com/ for details.
You can't go wrong with the Grand Ole Opry for tours, shows, and live music. Other great live music venues include Bluebird Cafe, The Ryman Auditorium, and The Listening Room. If you're feeling more of a live stand-up experience, Zanie's Comedy Club is one of our favorites! The Opryland area also consists of the Opry Hills Mall which has multiple shopping opportunities, and is not far from East Nashville which has many great restaurants!
If you're interested in heading for a walk, hike, run, or bike ride, we would recommend checking out Radnor Lake State Park or Edwin and Percy Warner Parks which have great trails!

Franklin is located ~20 miles south of downtown Nashville and is full of cute shops, quaint antiques and numerous places to eat/explore. The Factory at Downtown Franklin frequently hosts events and also has additional shops/eateries you can enjoy. Some of our favorite downtown Franklin restaurants include 1799 Kitchen and Cocktails, Culaccino Italian Restaurant + Bar, Cork & Cow, and Biscuit Love!
This is probably Joey & I's favorite area of Nashville and holds a special place for us! We took our engagement photos in this area, Ana bought her wedding dress at a shop in this area, and we spent most of our first few months living in Nashville exploring this adorable part of the city. 12 South is full of great restaurants, some of Nashville's best murals, and also our favorite coffee shop Frothy Monkey. Five Daughters Bakery is one of our top favorites in Nashville with some of the best donuts you'll ever have, but the breakfast sandwiches are the star(s) of the show. Edley's BBQ, Bar Taco, Urban Grub, and BurgerUp are also some great restaurants.
