Take a boat to visit the Channel Islands. It's a full day so only do this if you are coming in early or staying late.

Best Grilled fish and oyster bar. Recommend the halibut.

Great Cioppino and oyster shots. Good grilled fish options as well.
Moqueca Brazilian Cuisine
Most interesting/best restaurant in Oxnard. This is the only way to order: Order classic Cipriani and get the crostini with eggplant tapenade and chili oil. Start with hearts of palm salad with extra dressing. Premium white fish Moqueca for dinner. Skip desert.
River Ridge Golf Club
Place Matt golf's every weekend. Slightly prefer the Lakes over Vineyard but both are great. Both full par 72 18's at reasonable price. Contact Matt to set up a round as he is a "member" and gets priority booking.
Parking lot
There are a ton of places to get on the beach. Ask Amy and Matt for their favorites. Pro tip, head west till you hit water.
The Funk Zone
Take the train (Amtrak Coastliner) to the Santa Barbara funk zone for day drinking at the wineries tasting rooms and great food options.
Downtown Ventura
Park in the tall parking structure off California and E. Santa Clara and walk around main street to find great food, drinks and music. Matt likes the Tavern, Ventiki and The Saloon. Amy likes Rumfish and Vino, Made West on the Pier, and Rice by Mama.
