Have questions? No worries! We've taken the time to answer what we assume will be the FAQs for the wedding.

What time should I be there?

Answer

We recommend being at the venue by 2:30pm to allow yourself time to park and get comfortable.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is perfect! We ask that our guests wear dark colors to keep cohesion with our theme.

Question

Is there parking available nearby?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot right by the venue and street parking is also allowed in this area.

Where is your registry?

Answer

We have most of our household needs met already! We kindly ask that if you do want to give us a gift of some kind it be in the form of a cash donation that we will use for our honeymoon fund and our down payment fund for a future home! We are currently working on either an online fund you can donate to or a way to donate directly to us. Please be patient!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP by mailing back the RSVP card in your formal invitation or by digitally RSVPing right here on the website! Choose one method at least, if you do both...great! We are asking responses be sent to us no later than October 13th.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors! Our venue is a two-story building and we will start upstairs, then move downstairs.

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that during the ceremony photography be limited so that our hired photographer can get the best shots possible. During the reception, go crazy!

Can I post on social media about your wedding? Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

You may! This is fine with us! Our wedding hashtag is #amessywedding (this is a joke from college where we tried to combine our names Amir & Jess and found Amess was the most comical form)

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will be an open bar for majority of the wedding! We will be alerted by our catering staff if the times comes where we need to switch to a cash bar and an announcement will be made.

Will there be a shuttle or provided transportation?

Answer

Unfortunately no. We're sorry! You are welcome to walk, drive, or Uber/Lyft/Taxi to the venue from wherever you choose to stay in the area.

Are children allowed?

Answer

No, this will be a child free event. No exceptions even for the cutest and most well behaved among them.
