We were all sitting around the fire for Aaron’s birthday talking about music. I of course said something about Stick Figure. Bryce says “Hey I know that band.” I didn’t really believe him, but we all kept talking. Later on, I was trying to convince some of the people to do a Tough Mudder with me. Bryce said “I’ll do it with you.” I didn’t really believe him again, and we all kept talking. Bryce started talking about his new Jeep and Keri interjected and said “Yeah Amie, he’s got a brand new Jeep Wrangler.” I immediately turned to Bryce and said “Are you my soulmate?”

We took a road trip out west to check out some national parks and visit with family. It was a pretty adventurous road trip. Stalked by a mountain lion, tent camping in 25 degrees, snow and rain. Hikes planned almost every day. We also had a little bit of crime fighting to do. Our trip was starting to wind down a little bit and we decided to take a two track to watch the sunset in Sedona. We were heading down this very rocky, very bumpy two track and about a mile in I look at Bryce and say “You know, this vehicle has to get us home.” We cut the drive short and parked on top of this little plateau. There was another rig there, two guys hanging out eating pizza. We got our chairs out and enjoyed the beauty of Sedona, there was some desert wildlife hanging out in the sunset including a couple of deer grazing. We get up to take our picture with the sunset and the guys there offered to get a good one for us. While Bryce was giving the guy his phone, a coyote popped out of nowhere and distracted me. When I looked back, Bryce had came back and got on one knee. I cried a little, and said “Yes!”
