Are hotel room blocks available?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the accommodations page for information regarding room blocks. Please plan to reserve your rooms well in advance to ensure availability and best rates.

Will there be transportation to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttles from room-blocked hotels to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and back to the hotels. For guests who stay outside of the hotel room blocks or prefer to drive, please plan to park at the Southport Congregational Church and take the shuttle to the Garland residence for the reception. The shuttles will also be available at the end of the evening to bring guests from the Garland residence to the Southport Congregational Church to retrieve cars.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is ceremony parking available at the Southport Congregational Church. There is no reception parking available at the Garland residence. Please use the arranged shuttles to go from the ceremony to the reception and back.

Are there rideshare or taxi services available in the area?

Answer

There are rideshare and taxi services available, but due to limited availability on the weekends, we highly recommend booking a rideshare in advance or calling a car service and making arrangements prior to the wedding weekend if necessary.

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding day, we are requesting Formal Attire. Dark tailored suits for men and long dresses or fancy cocktail dresses for women. Consider the grassy grounds when selecting footwear.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When our invitations go out, you will have the opportunity to share any dietary restrictions. Please be sure to RSVP with your name and your dietary restriction specified.
