OUR BIG DAY IS HERE!

Hi everyone! The countdown is on and we are getting so excited to see you all! We wanted to provide you some information about the venue, events and accommodation before hand so you know what to expect. Screenshot or save this one to refer back to! Accommodation: If you are staying on site, check in opens at 3pm. The address is 406 Jamberoo Mountain Road, Jamberoo NSW 2533 (save that in your maps while you remember). You will receive a card with the order of events for the wedding day and a map of the grounds upon check in. Hotel reception is located in the building on the right hand side as you drive in. If you are staying offsite: We have not organised any transport to and from the venue for those guests who are staying offsite. Please arrange your own transport. Numbers for Taxi services in the area are below, we recommend booking ahead of time. WOLLONGONG RADIO CABS: 13 10 08 A Maxi Taxi service is available on: 0411 573 365 KIAMA CABS: 4237 7505 Optional pre-wedding dinner: On the 20th, we will be down at LuLus restaurant from 6pm to have some dinner and drinks, we would love for you to join us. They offer a set menu (either 2 course or 3 course) that costs between $65-$85 per head and bookings are essential, call the restaurant on 02 4236 0269 to book your table. Weather and dress code: Looks like the weather is going to turn it on! it will be a balmy 18 during the day and a low of 13 overnight. The dress code is black tie. Men - that means a black suit. Women - we know you’ve already bought your dresses 😉 The big day: Firstly, and this goes without saying but PLEASE do not contact the bride on the day about accommodation or any other logistical questions. Amelia has been event planner and travel agent extraordinaire but she will not be answering phone calls at all on the day. Same goes for the groom. If you need something urgently please contact the bride’s security guard and maid of honour, Tay on 0493543251 or via Facebook messenger. Complimentary yoga will be held at 10am near the chapel area for anyone who didn’t get too carried away on Wednesday night. Everyone should then be limber enough to cut some serious shapes during the reception! The ceremony will commence at 3:00pm sharp at the outdoor Chapel. It’s SUPER tempting to grab your phone and snap a pic of these gorgeous people but please refrain from doing so during the ceremony. Two reasons for this: 1. The bride and groom have paid a lot of money for photographers to capture their day. 2. They don’t want to see people holding up phones in front of their faces in those expensive photos AND (bonus reason) it will reduce the temptation for you to go posting a picture or video on social media before the newlyweds get to. After the ceremony finishes, the photographer will take a group photo with everyone so please stick around for a few minutes after. Close family will be asked to hang around even longer for some photos as well so if you fall into that category, don’t say we didn’t warn you. Guests will then be invited to enjoy a grazing table and drinks in the wedding garden (to the right of the wedding hall). Careful not to drink too much on your own dime though! Alternatively, feel free to use this time to go to your room, freshen up and crack a cold one there. We do ask that If you have BYO’d alcohol in your accommodation, please refrain from bringing it into any of the venue’s event spaces. Also be mindful of where you chuck your empties. The venue is a smoke-free venue, there is a designated smoking area, look for the signs. The doors to the wedding hall will open at 5pm for the reception’s eating and merriment. The bride and groom will be arrive at 5:30pm so please ensure you grab a drink, find your seat and make yourself at home before then. That’s all for now. See you very soon!

Hi everyone, welcome to our wedding website! We sure hope you can join us on our special day! Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Lodge at Jamberoo. This is a resort style venue, where there is accommodation available for us and our guests. We have the venue for two nights. Rooms available sleep either two, three or four people and if you choose to stay at the venue, you will need to book the room for two nights (the night before the wedding, and the night of the wedding). It is up to you to arrange if you would like to share accommodation with other guests. Our hiring of the venue includes breakfast for all of our wedding guests both mornings of our stay. It also includes the exclusive use of the pool, spa, sauna, tennis court, gym and push bike facilities at the venue. Be sure to make the most of these during our time at The Lodge! There is also a day spa with treatments available, feel free to contact the venue directly if you would like to book a treatment in during your stay. Accommodation Accommodation is for two nights at The Lodge, Jamberoo. Breakfast and use of the amenities is included. Check in is September 20th from 2pm, checkout is September 22nd at 10am. If you would like to book accommodation at The Lodge for our wedding, please send Amelia an email to amelia.norton@live.com.au with the following information: Room Type needed Full names of all people staying in the room Primary contact name and number of booking Please note, the person making the booking will be required to pay the full amount of the room. It is their responsibility to collect money from other people sharing the room. The room will not be secured until payment is made in full. This will be a first come, first serve basis.
