This is a great spot to walk, scooter, or bike around in the summer. When you cross the bridge be sure to stop for a margarita, tacos, and chips and salsa at Jefe Urban Cocina.
We went on our first date at Modist Brewery in North Loop. Within a few blocks are even more breweries to add to your list - Fulton Brewing Taproom, Inbound Brew Co, First Draft, and Number 12 Cider. Oh, and Pryes Brewing Company, it's a little further of a walk than the others being on the opposite end of the North Loop.
We love the food at Freehouse (wide variety that everyone can enjoy), but the best part is the large outdoor patio. If it's a Friday night, you may want to book reservations or prepare for a wait. We also love Smack Shack - lobster cobb salad (Ashley's fav), lobster mac & cheese (Casey's fav), oysters, and also an outdoor patio!
If you're out and about late at night, we recommend hanging around Graze Provisions + Libations. This spot has a food hall, outdoor fire pits, skyline views, and a lively crowd. If you're looking for the fun dive bar late a night, check out Cuzzy's! It's the type of laid back place that has dollar bills on the ceiling. For a more sophisticated night out, check out the rooftop of Hewing Hotel. Fancy drinks, soft music, and (again) skyline views!
