Below are a few of our favorite places in the area if you have some time to explore before or after the wedding. We've included some restaurants first, followed by some sightseeing spots. Reach out to one of us if you have any questions!

Taste of Belgium - The Banks

This is the place we met at for our first date. Mike picked it out after doing some long-distance research - and Amber approved! It will forever be close to our hearts.

If you're looking for a great German experience, we suggest heading to Newport, KY and checking this place out. Beer and food are amazing and there's usually live music. Friday and Saturday night are the most fun.

Skyline Chili

When in ROME! Cincinnati is famous for its Chili. You'll either love it or hate it, but we hope that you'll love it! There are tons of locations around the city; this one is just closest to the hotel block.

LaRosa's Pizza Lakota - West Chester

LaRosa's is a famous pizza joint in Cincinnati.

Rhinegeist Brewery

If you're downtown, check out Rhinegeist brewery. They have a wonderful rooftop bar with great views. This is one of the many places we went to on our first date.

Fifty West Brewing Company- Burger Bar

A little off the beaten path, but this place has a large burger and beer selection. It also has a huge outdoor area along with volleyball and pickleball courts.

Grainworks Brewing Company

A fun nearby brewery with a good beer selection.

New Riff Distilling

24 Distillery Way, Newport, KY 41073

For any bourbon or rye enthusiasts, this distillery is just across the river from downtown Cincinnati.

Jungle Jim's International Market

5440 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, OH 45014

Our favorite regular date spot - for real! It's no ordinary grocery store; they have a crazy selection of foods from all over the world, plus there is a tasting bar where you can enjoy a drink while you wander around and shop. Don't forget to check out the bathrooms!

Findlay Market

Findlay Market is Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market and one of Cincinnati's most cherished institutions. Findlay Market is home to more than 50 full-time merchants selling meat, fish, produce, etc.

Newport Aquarium

If you have a little bit more time and the weather isn't great, consider checking out the aquarium.

If you have a little bit more time and the weather isn't great, consider checking out the museum center. Current featured exhibition is POMPEII. Through 150 artifacts, the exhibition tells the tale of a city hidden from view and forgotten for centuries.

Devou Park

Memorial Overlook at Devou Park provides breathtaking views of Cincinnati and Covington. It’s one of the best views in town.

Liberty Center

Liberty Center is an entertainment area with restaurants, shopping, etc.

Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum

Baseball fans will enjoy this museum - even if you're not a Reds fan.
