Who says you can’t meet the love of your life at the local college bar? We met at Dogz bar and grill in Long Beach, Ca. We like to think meeting that night was meant to be because neither of us were actually going to be at that bar that night. I spotted Skyler first and my best friend ran after him as he was leaving to get him to talk to me. After he approached me the rest was history.

Our first date was on Main Street in Seal Beach. Skyler and I decided to have a date night down there in January 2022. We decided to go down by the beach before the sun set to watch some surfing. We sat down and Skyler turned to me, told me how much he loved me and asked me to marry him. It was a perfect night, simple and private. Fun fact: The night he asked me to marry him Skyler also wore the same jacket I met him in.
