It all started when Amber’s babysitting client asked, “Are you in a relationship?” and she quickly replied, “No but if you know anyone, I might be interested!” Amber's babysitting clients shared her number with Eric, who then introduced himself to her. After only 22 text messages exchanged, they were talking about real estate investing. Amber insisted that they grab coffee soon. On their first date, they both drank Starbucks’ vanilla chai tea lattes, shared their faith, talked about their aspirations and realized that after 3 hours of chatting, they wanted to keep getting to know each other.

After two years and eight months of dating, Eric got down on one knee, atop a mountain at Devils Head Lake, and asked Amber to be his wife. Their close friends were with them to celebrate! Many of them will be standing by their side on their wedding day. Eric and Amber look forward to spending the rest of their lives’ honoring God together!
