Our Story

We met as freshmen at UCLA in January 2012 and have been together ever since!

We worked together at UCLA's Bruin Woods summer camp in Lake Arrowhead, wore many costumes, and made friends that will last a lifetime.

After graduating from UCLA, we lived between California and Chicago. Amber started school at Chicago Medical School and Elliot began his career as a software engineer in San Francisco.

In our free time we enjoyed traveling and explored North and South America together

In 2018, we moved in together in Chicago and had a blast with our new friends in the Windy City

Elliot popped the question on the evening of March 30th, 2019!

We ate a romantic dinner on the roof of the London House hotel, and once the sun began to set, we ventured up to the "Cupola" for a view of the city and a life changing question.

Amber said YES, and we've been grinning ever since

We've had a wonderful extended engagement, and COVID-19 couldn't keep us down.

We got married on Zoom in Chicago on April 11, 2020 and celebrated the night virtually with friends and family across the US

Since then, we have been living in sunny San Diego where Amber is doing her Family Medicine Residency

We’ve been enjoying the surf, beaches, and spending time with our new puppy, California Burrito Plant AKA Cali B!
