As many already know Ben and I met on OkCupid an online dating site. After some messaging we decided to meet at a local restaurant in Ames. Ben makes plans to get off of work early so he'd have plenty of time to walk Sebastian and get to the restaurant across town. However his car broke down on his way home. After having it to towed he texted me letting me know he was going to be late. I suggested that we postpone but Ben was adamant that we still meet up. I arrived at the restaurant first and Ben biked across town in Iowa summer heat arriving sweaty and "off his game". Our engagement went about the same.
