We were both stationed in Pensacola, Florida for our technical training. I had a huge crush on the 'guitar guy' who could never say my last name right at roll call for study hall. One night, both of us happened to go downtown with our friend groups to enjoy a night out. Our friends introduced us, we quickly hit it off, and we danced the night away!

We're both working on base in Fort Meade, MD after being stationed in separate states for the past few years. Amber lived in San Antonio, TX while Ian was living in San Diego, CA. After doing long distance for a few years, we were both finally able to live in Maryland in 2023!

Riding off into the sunset while Ian is loudly singing some 80s pop music because he's had more caffeine than a doctor recommends. <3
