I really wanted to perfect the winged eye liner...so on my birthday treated myself to a session with a make up artist I found on Instagram, PayalMUA. During our first session, she was insistent she had the “perfect guy” for me. Of course, I was skeptical and would not give her my picture to share with him. Well Payal was persistent (and right!) and on our third session invited me to a happy hour and made sure to invite Amar... Well when you meet the one, you just know and I felt a sense of completeness as I got to know Amar better. He is genuine, dependable, and most importantly, makes me laugh every day!

"Hey, interested in meeting someone". Payal (my brother's fiancee's sister) texted me one day. I responded like any single guy, "Yes and does she have a picture?" Well Payal struggled with getting one so I decided to take matters into my own hands and inquired what her name was so I could do some social research. Coincidentally, she had one of the most common Indian names. Some time passed and I get another text from Payal: “Come to happy hour, I am with Neha." After spending the entire happy hour talking with only Neha, I quickly realized how I couldn't wait to talk to her again. Neha is the smartest, creative, and most beautiful person I have ever met. She brings out the best in me and makes sure I have a smile on my face everyday!

Neha was working and not in the mood to go out...so Amar got his brother Aasit to ask her to come to an award ceremony. When Amar came to pick her up, Neha could see something was "off" and thought he was having an asthma attack so scolded him for not having his inhaler...The proposal happened on the balcony at XIX Nineteen. The location was perfect, the ring stunning, the flowers beautiful and the best part was that both their families were there to celebrate with them.
