We're getting married!

We first met the summer of 2007 on a college trip to Australia with maybe two words spoken between us over the entirety of the trip. Ten years later we reconnected online. After Matt refused to travel to Oklahoma, Amara flew to Murrells Inlet where they went on their first date to Perrone's, took a walk through Brook Green Gardens, an obligatory inlet sunset cruise, and the rest was history....

Matt had recently accepted a job in Key West, FL and Amara flew down over Labor Day weekend to spend a few days of fun in the sun. Saturday was spent on the water, fishing, snorkeling and sand barring. Later that evening, we came home and proceeded to have our favorite date night: Cooking the fish we caught for dinner while having a glass of wine and listening to music. After dinner, Matt asked Amara if she would marry him and she said "YES!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you all. See you in Myrtle Beach!!
