Where Should I Book My Hotel Room?

The Cactus Cove Inn and Suites 2501 E Interstate Dr Amarillo, TX 79104 #806.905.6089 The rehearsal dinner/welcome event, cocktail hour, and wedding reception & dance will be held at the Cactus Cove (only 3 miles away from St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral). We wanted to make this simple and host everything at one venue, and maximize visitation and quality time with family and friends. We secured a special rate of $80/night. When you are booking the rooms, inform the receptionist you are booking the room for “The Wedding of Amanda and Ray on April 13, 2024.”

St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral 1200 S. Washington Amarillo, TX 79102 2:oopm Please be seated at least 15 mins before the ceremony begins as it's a traditional Catholic Wedding Ceremony.

Am I able to attend the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes. No RSVP is required. We will have food and drinks waiting for you and your family upon your arrival at the Cactus Cove Inn & Suites Friday evening, April 12, 2024 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. We will have a Taco Bar and its BYOB! Attire is casual and stop by anytime, even it's a quick hello.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The event is semi-formal, but anything you want to wear we are sure will be ok. The Bride does request that she be the only one wearing a white/ivory dress.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Children under the age of 12 are an exception, however, please help us ensure an accurate headcount, and RSVP for your children via text: 678.858.8357 if the option isn't available on the website or please mail in the RSVP card.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes...this is a family celebration. Please note how many children (under age of 12) attending with you on the online RSVP, if the option is not available on the website, please text 678.858.8355 to ensure proper headcount. We'll forever be our parents' "children" ourselves, and we understand you want to include your whole family, however anyone over the age of 18 years, will receive their own specific invite. Do not count them as "children" - as this will make our headcount for food inaccurate.

Your presence is a present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
