Best Man
I'm Ben, one of the lucky people that get to call Pete my friend. Pete and I have shared more than 13 years of friendship, poor decisions, adventures, and celebrations. I'm beyond honored and excited to add this celebration to that list. My wish for Peter and Amanda is simply a joyous lifetime of building their own memories, stories, new experiences, growth, celebrations, love and happiness. Love you both and can't wait to raise a glass to you in March!
Maid of Honor
Hi! I’m Virginia, the Bride’s PERSON. For those of you who don’t get the reference, that’s from Grey’s Anatomy, and I’m the Christina to her Meredith, her ride-or-die BFF, Maid of Honor extraordinaire! I’ll never forget meeting Amanda, and the many, many adventures that we’ve had ever since that have led us to having the friendship we have today. Amanda and I have known each other for 15 years. Back in those days, I didn’t have a car to get around, and one of the ways I got a glimpse into how caring, loyal, kind, and wonderful she is: she would give me a ride home whenever we worked together, she always claimed it was no big deal, she would minimize it today if you asked her about it, but I appreciated it more than I can convey, especially on days we either worked early or got off after midnight! That’s just the tip of the iceberg! Once, I was so drunk on a trip to Vegas that I was yelling up and down Las Vegas Blvd walking back to the hotel, and she made sure that I got there safe, had plenty of water, and I didn’t even wake up with a hangover she took such good care of me. I’m so excited she’s marrying Pete, I know the same care Amanda takes of her friends, she will bring to her relationship with Pete! I can’t describe how glad I am that they’ve found each other, partners for life, and I hope they always remember their love is what can help them grow together as a couple and will allow them to move toward all their goals; together, they can accomplish anything!

Pete is my youngest brother. We went through very rough times when he was born, but thankfully he pulled through and now we cherish the good times! Mainly getting to see him grow into the most amazing man we see today. I helped Pete move from Portland to San Antonio. Now it's definitely a very different landscape from what Pete believes but something called him to be in San Antonio and thank God he listened to the voice The day Pete told the family he met somebody I sensed the most joy come from him. When I met her virtually with Peter for the first time I thought to myself Peter met his better half. I can not wait for their next journey to begin together.

Panda & Pete I’m so very excited for you two! Excited because your love is apparent and, in fact, contagious! My advice for you all is to Dream Big and Live Well! I wish you a long-lasting and prosperous life together. To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with - Mark Twain

Hey I'm Justin! I remember the day Pete was born. I instantly knew that the spoiled son was born, yet my older brother and I had the duty of protecting him and also teaching him the ways. We had early on scares with his health and prayed he would be ok and he did! He also became a pain in the ass but as any brother would I took the fall for him many times. As he grew older I thought who can bring down this brother of mine's ego, I'm tired. That person who I am happy is joining our family is Amanda. She is perfect for him and never have seen him so happy and in love until he met her. Amanda I hand over the l reins to you. Love you guys.

My name is Ebony aka "elbow- knees" Lol. I'm the bride's cuzn/sister! I've known her since the play pins days to our adulthood. And man, she's been a hell of a "ride-n-die" our whole life! Lol, she never snitched on me or never switched up, no matter how many times I got all of us in trouble! Down to the butt whipping before church.🤣🤣🤣 I pray that the couple stays prayed up. Always keep God 1st. Continue to date each other, and keep the friendship alive. Because its gonna be times yall don't get along, lol, and just keep the communication between one another. And people out yall relationships.

I would characterize our relationship as close friends for 14 years that would happily murder each other 50% of the time. My favorite memory is not a singular event but rather our collection of talks, some as we walked aimlessly around Boise neighborhoods, some in our living room at 3 am and others while enjoying a bad boy burger. We'd converse about everything and nothing; politics, sports, family, religion, and of course, girls (sorry Amanda). I do have many more fond memories and stories, but those can't be shared and will be taken to our graves. I wish you both a lifetime of love, health, success, and happiness. Bring out the best in each other and you'll never go wrong. Cheers!

Miss Wells and I met during our time working together at Disneyland. What started as two frosty, reluctant coworkers (meaning Amanda thought I was spoiled and I thought she was bossy--spoiler--she was totally right!) evolved into a life-lasting powerful friendship that neither of us saw coming. From the corners of the happiest place on Earth to a haunted hotel in Bizby, Arizona, to climbing the top of a mountain (or was it a hill? We're still debating), I know one thing is for sure, you have been by my side through my most formative adult years and big moments and there ain't no mountain high enough, to keep me from being there for yours! I'm so happy for you to begin this next chapter of your life. Wishing you all the happiness and blessings from my heart. Love, Gio.

Mijo and I met in Portland through work in 2016. We both immediately connected and became great friends. Shortly after meeting we became roommates and started our podcast together, which is still going to this day despite us living in different parts of the country. (Shout out to all 7 of our loyal listeners!) Mijo & I have been through a lot together, The good times, the bad times, the struggles, and the successes. One thing remained through it all, our friendship never stopped and I am so happy to call Mijo not only my friend but my brother. I am so happy that Mijo & Amanda found each other. I'm looking forward to watching your life grow together & seeing all of the beautiful things that you accomplish together, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day and your life. I'm truly grateful & I love you both.

I met Amanda in the fall of 2018 while registering for a women-only kickboxing class at a karate academy. We made eye contact and laughed at the membership fee and the ridiculous billing policies. I remember my first impression was that she was naturally pretty, but I had no idea how much of an understatement that would be when I really got to know her. She’s always been a logical mentor and a selfless cheerleader who is always down for food and fun! I don’t know if I have a favorite memory or adventure together because we’re always laughing regardless of whether it’s a relaxing hour of yoga or a badass poetry slam, stomping on grapes at a winery or solving a murder mystery, painting pictures, or making mosaics, being empowered at a self-defense class or feeling confident on a party boat in the middle of Lake Travis, trying new restaurants to celebrate or staying in to catch up and chill. If you don’t know by now, Amanda is one of those people filled with light that rejuvenates those around her. I’m so thankful to have met her and for our being a part of each other’s lives. So excited for the next milestone, 3.30.23! Amanda, keep glowing and growing queen! I’m so proud of the woman you are and am so happy that you’ve found your person. Congratulations again. I wish you and Pete only the best throughout your long lifetime of love. Thank you for including me on your special day; I love you both ❤️
