Our venue is located in close proximity to two major cities in the French Rivera, Cannes and Nice. There are many hotel and AirBnb options between both cities depending on your preference. The cities are within 30 minutes of each other. If you prefer to be by the sea with easy access to great restaurants, attractions, and shopping we recommend staying in Nice. Most of our events will be around Nice. Cannes is also a great location for luxury shopping, sandy beaches, and historical sites. If you prefer to be away from the crowds and bustling city we recommend staying north of Nice, in Provence countryside like Vence.
Provence and Côte d'Azur are part of a region (french equivalent of state/province) called Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Within the region of Provence there are coastal cities like Nice, Cannes, and Marseille which are considered the French Riviera. Most consider the french countryside Provence, but you can think of the Riviera as a part of Provence. Our wedding is in the region of Provence in the city of Cannes. Don't be shy, feel free to google a map of Provence and you will see the vast region!
Provence is a vast area with many towns and cities to visit. Many of these towns are within 30 minutes to 1 hour from Nice. If you plan on staying by the Mediterranean Sea you can easily explore the French Riviera by Uber, Taxi/private car, or the tram! For the wine lovers who want to explore the French countryside we recommend renting a car. The drive is beautiful with lush greenery of the grapevines and a back drop of the Provence Alps.
