Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Yes, travel to Mexico is international travel and therefore a passport is required. Please make sure your passport is not expired. If you do not have a passport, please obtain one months in advance to ensure it arrives in time for your travel.

What is the weather in Cancun normally like in August?

Answer

In August, temperatures range between 77°F (25°C) and 90°F (32°C) and Cancun gets approximately nine hours of daily sunshine. The water temperature is around 84°F (29°C) and there are around four rainy days on average. August is the perfect month for spending time at the beach and for some celebration. From August 11th to 13th there is a big party on Cancún’s beaches. It’s called Fiesta de la Playa and features lots of events and activities. On August 17th Isla Mujeres is the perfect place to visit as the Isla Mujeres Founding Day is happening with parades, celebrations and music. And if you are interested in sea life, you can still get a chance to see some turtles (as well as baby turtles) and whale sharks in August.

What is the attire for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The reception and ceremony will both be held indoors in air conditioned buildings; however, the weather is expected to be warm during August. Please wear semi-formal to dressy causal attire. What are the wedding colors?

Answer

The wedding colors are dusty pink, champagne, mauve, and navy. You can find the color pallet under our photo gallery!

Where will the ceremony be held on the resort?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at a venue on the Grand Palladium side of the resort called “the glassroom.” Guests can scheduled transportation to the location by asking your butler for assistance. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.

Where will the reception be held?

Answer

We will have a private reception at a restaurant on the resort called “the Posideon.” This is a beautiful location that is beachfront and offers amazing views! Transportation can be arranged by contacting your butler.

What is the attire for the all white party?

Answer

On August 4, 2023, we are planning an all white yacht party so that we can all unwind and enjoy the ocean! Attire is cocktail wear. Food and drinks will be served during the three hour sunset cruise. Attendance is at your discretion.
