I was visiting some sisters in Virginia. They were having a party. I was in a fiery red dress when he first laid eyes on me. I walked by his table and I gave him a little wink. One of his friends, "Blue" said "Behave" and I answered, "I am a grown-ass woman." That spunk intrigued Marvin and he reached out via Facebook messenger. I initially played hard to get for a couple of months. Then, in October in Virginia, we met again and I appreciated his cool laid back energy. The next day, he reached out again via Facebook messenger and we talked and video chatted every day until he moved here.
When you are marrying an educator, you realize from the start their hearts lies in their classroom and in their students. Marvin visited Amanda's classroom and school quite frequently. On February 14, 2019, she came to school as she normally would. Here is her story. When I arrived to school I greeted Mr. Posey, our front office secretary. He was smiling extra hard that day. My co-worker, Ms. Petree, was like, "Let's go to your room." I was like ok. Then, as we were two doors from my room she asked for my phone and began recording. I was like, "Girl what are you are doing." She was like just give me your keys. I knew something was up, but I could not believe it was a ring. She opened the door and she said close your eyes. She guided me into the room and there on one of my student's desk was a "promise came true" with flowers and heart felt words written in a card. His Story One thing I learned in the Navy is to pay attention to detail. By doing this you can learn a lot about a person, their ways. I used this strategy to surprise my queen to be. I was able to infiltrate her work and secretly plant my love of affection to win her heart. I will never reveal my secret and to those who participated. I am in debt to your secrecy. See you in the Queen City!
