WE ARE GETTING MARRIED

Rewind back to August 2021. Amanda had recently been convinced to join Hinge (an online dating app), and Josh still had an account active from eight months prior. Anyone who is familiar with Hinge knows that it's "designed to be deleted," and that was exactly what happened. By mid-August, Josh and Amanda had been messaging each other frequently, so it was evident there was interest. By late August, Josh felt Hinge messaging was building a strong enough foundation to ask about a first date, and within a week, Amanda and Josh were headed to meet at Ziggy's Magic Pizza Shop in downtown Phoenix. We ordered two slices of pizza each, Pineapple and Pepperoni of course, and spent the first half of the date talking about typical, first date topics like childhood, hobbies, career, and personality. After 2-3 games of pinball, Josh felt the night needed more than just a pair of pizzas and pinball games to be considered a high quality date, so he asked if a movie would be a worthy endeavor, and just like the proposal, Amanda said yes. By the end of August and two dates later, Josh and Amanda became official. Fast forward a year and 3 months later through many adventures and memories. Amanda was in Michigan for Christmas and Josh got down on one knee and proposed on Christmas Eve. Needless to say, the app has been successfully deleted, and there is a high probability it will stay that way. Josh and Amanda are excited to get married and start their life together.
