The Wedding Website of Amanda Hayden and Jimmy Hayden

Kaylee Rulong

Maid of Honor

Amanda has known Kaylee for 21 years! Amanda loves inviting Kaylee over for dinner so she can ask Kaylee thousands of questions about her personal life. Amanda is thankful Kaylee is just down the road at UIndy so she can come watch Brian and play house. Amanda appreciates Kaylee's support of her music taste and going to bad concerts together. Amanda is hopeful one day Kaylee will respond to her texts with more than "yes," "no," or "ok." Jimmy, Amanda and Brian can't wait for Kaylee to be their newest roommate in August.

Mitch Cooper

Best Man

Jimmy and Mitch became best friends in first grade when Jimmy threw his boomerang into Mitch's backyard. The two then decided it would be a good idea to hang out and throw the boomerang together. Jimmy and Mitch then spent countless hours jumping on Mitch's trampoline, swimming at Smokey Row Pool, and getting into trouble. Although they now live across the country, Jimmy and Mitch still have weekly FaceTime dates. Jimmy is thankful to have Mitch as someone he can rely on and always bounce ideas off of. Jimmy is less thankful for all the times Mitch has spilled something on him.

Zoe Buhl

Matron of Honor

Amanda and Zoe met during their freshman year of IU when they joined ADPi together, but they really didn't become friends until Zoe finally cut her bangs. Together they spent too much time at Kilroys, Z+C, and Acacia (221 or 107). Amanda is thankful for Zoe always having her back when picking outfits, ordering Ubers, and for always walking her to the cold dorm. Amanda was Zoe's maid of honor in September and now it is Zoe's turn to push Amanda down the aisle. Keep an eye out for Zoe's expert level dance moves mixed with a taste of karate and boxing.

Mike Misner

Best Man

Jimmy and Mike met during their freshman year of high school but they didn't become friends until their sophomore year. Mike asked Jimmy to hang out many many times but for some reason, Jimmy kept saying no. Finally, Jimmy decided to stop being mean and went to Mike's house. Jimmy and Mike have been inseparable ever since. They went on to hangout at least once a week throughout all of high school and lived together for 4 years at IU (yes they actually kept track). Jimmy is thankful for Mike's endless positivity and weird sense of humor. Jimmy also wishes Mike would realize Bruce Weber is not a good basketball coach.

Megan Porten

Bridesmaid

Amanda met Megan through Zoe! The three of them hooked up playing Kilroy's trivia with the guys and became quick friends trying to avoid free whiskey shots for bonus points. Megan is Amanda's go to for downtown hangs, trying new cocktail bars, and girls night in. Megan is known for never missing a birthday and being a huge Taylor Swift fan. Amanda is thankful to have Megan for always being down for matching workout dresses and sending her random Tik-toks.

Danny Steinmetz

Groomsman

Jimmy met Danny their freshman year of college living on the same floor of their dorm. During their freshman year Danny and his roommate moved their bunkbed into Jimmy and Mike's dorm room so they could have a sleep room and an empty hangout room. Jimmy and Danny then lived together their senior year of college and for a year after graduation. Danny has shown Jimmy some of his favorite music artists and always has a great drinking game to play. Jimmy wishes Danny enjoyed St. Patrick's Day more.

Cara Bloom

Bridesmaid

Not only is Cara one of Amanda's closest friends from ADPi/ IUDM, Cara was also Jimmy's senior year prom date! Cara has a huge impact on Amanda and Jimmy's relationship and without her we wouldn't all get to celebrate. Amanda and Cara are best known for sharing their love of therapy (and the classes taken along the way), the Bachelor/Bachelorette tv show, and Run 317 5Ks. Amanda is thankful for Cara for teaching her where the gait belt goes during showers and providing Amanda her first Jewish friend. Watch out for Cara Bloomington as she is an expert bridesmaid.

Ryan Molony

Groomsman

Jimmy and Ryan met their Junior year of college doing IUDM together. They sat together almost every IUDM meeting and wrote the (self-proclaimed) funniest messages that would be read at the end of every meeting. Jimmy and Ryan then lived together for two years after graduation. Ryan is Jimmy's favorite person to talk about IU basketball with. Ryan also taught Jimmy many things about how to keep an apartment clean (Amanda can only hope). Jimmy wishes Ryan didn't root for Ohio State football since he went to IU.

Krista Hobbs

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Krista met at ADPi and became quick friends as they were the same major at IU. Amanda constantly questioned Krista's eating habits and love for the gym, but now follows Krista's passion to the T on Instagram. Although Krista is living in Florida, Amanda and Krista facetime often and discuss all things boys, pets, and our most recent buy on Amazon prime. Amanda is thankful for Krista's commitment, support and love of Jimmy throughout their relationship. Krista has guns of steel and is not afraid to use them!

Nate Slack

Groomsman

Jimmy does not remember when he met Nate. They both went to Smokey Row pool so they probably met there! Jimmy and Nate became friends in high school and lived together for 2 years at IU. Jimmy loves spending time in downtown Indy with Nate. Jimmy is thankful for all of the different talks he has had with Nate about life. Jimmy is less thankful for Nate not liking ketchup.

Brian Dog Hayden-Rulong

Best Dog

Brian is Jimmy and Amanda's favorite dog who they adopted in November 2020! Brian makes Jimmy and Amanda a family and is always looking for a belly rub or ways to take the most comfortable spot on the couch. Brian won't be able to make the wedding due to his fear of people, but his parents decided he needed a spot on the website. In summary, Brian is a wonderful boy bark bark!
