How do I get to the Lodge from the airport?

Answer

We recommend using Uber or Lyft as the most affordable option to get you to the lodge. You can book a one way shuttle from the airport to Snowbird and a one way shuttle from Alta Lodge back to the airport through this link: https://www.altashuttle.com/ You may also choose to rent a car for the duration of your stay.

What is the Dress Code for the Wedding?

Fall Formal - Come dressed to impress! *No denim (jeans) or white please!* It WILL be chilly up in the mountains, so be sure to pack a shawl, sweater, or jacket!

Is there Parking at the Wedding Venue?

Answer

Roadside parking is free for our guests and will be available on either side of the road outside of Alta Lodge.

What is the plan in case of Inclement Weather?

Answer

In this case, our ceremony will be at the Our Lady of the Snows Center, across the street from Alta Lodge. Our reception and after party will still be located at Alta Lodge, but moved inside!

What is the accessibility of the Lodge ?

Answer

The Lodge is a historic building and is accessed by 59 stairs from the roadside to the lobby entrance. For guests who are unable to negotiate the stairs, a call can be placed from the courtesy phone at street level. Guests are transported via four-wheel-drive vehicle to the lobby and patio levels. There is one wheelchair-accessible lodging room on the main level. Some areas of the Lodge are not accessible by wheelchair from the lobby, and we do not have an escalator or elevator. When should I arrive?

Answer

If you are traveling from out of town, we recommend arriving by Saturday morning (September 30th) at the latest. You'll have a chance to rest, explore the mountains a bit, and meet with us for drinks on Saturday night!

Friday and Saturday Night Accommodations (September 29th and 30th)

The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird 9320 Cliff Lodge Dr, Snowbird, UT 84092 You can book through the link located under the lodging tab, or call 800-453-3000 and let them know you are with the Corbett-Lanham wedding group to book with our discounted rate. The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird is located less than 2 miles down the canyon from Alta Lodge (our wedding venue). There will be a shuttle to take you from Snowbird to Alta Lodge the day of our wedding.

Sunday Night Accommodations (October 1st - Wedding Day!)

Alta Lodge 10230 UT-210, Alta, UT 84092 The Ceremony, Reception, and After Party will be here. You can find the link to book in the 'lodging' tab of our website, or you can call the front desk at (801) 742-3500 to book with our room block rate for your Sunday night stay. You will have the option to stay an extra night (Monday October 2nd) if you'd like to prolong your Utah vacation. You can book a discounted room here for the night of our wedding through the link under the 'lodging tab.'

Why can't I stay at Alta Lodge the whole weekend?

Answer

Alta Lodge is booked out for another wedding the same weekend so we are unable to check in for our wedding until Sunday October 1st. Alta Lodge will be exclusively reserved for our wedding the entirety of Sunday afternoon and evening into Monday morning.

Can I stay at Snowbird the whole weekend?

Answer

We do not recommend doing this. You may choose to stay at Snowbird the whole weekend, but we will not have a block of rooms reserved at the discounted rate for Sunday night and it may be difficult to find transportation after the wedding to get back. We would love for you to stay at the Alta Lodge the night of our wedding. It will be the most convenient and safest option for our guests. We've also planned a send-off brunch at the Alta Lodge for the next morning so that we can have one last moment with all of our guests.
