We're getting married!

Growing up, sports have been a very important part of both Amanda's and Eddie's lives. Amanda played many sports, but her ultimate love was softball. Eddie also played many sports, he played amateur baseball which then led him to slow-pitch softball and that is where Amanda and Eddie's story began. In the summer of 2019, Amanda played on a slow-pitch softball team called the Misfits, with a group of literal misfit moms. Eddie played competitively all over the country but also enjoyed umpiring the game. Lucky enough for both of them, this small-town softball league would bring a random umpire and a random slow-pitch softball player together. The first time Eddie umpired one of Amanda's games, she was bashfully shy. She would throw some smiles in his direction and he would smile back. Eddie umpired more and more of her games. The next game that he umpired, would be the start of their future together. Amanda mustered the courage and asked for Eddie's number. After that, they laughed, they flirted, and they fell in love. So that brings us to now my friends and on October 14th, they will begin the best journey of their lives.
