Easton and I met through Hannah, my best friend and bridesmaid. Hannah knew that we would both get along so well. She would talk Easton up when we would be together. And then when she would see Easton she would talk me up to him. Well finally after hearing how cool this Easton guy is we finally all get together one night at the local country bar and I get to meet him. We two stepped and he taught me some new dance moves. I thought he was so handsome the moment I saw him! It was the summer before I was supposed to move away and start nursing school though. I did not want to have a boyfriend while being two hours away and being in school. We went out on a few dates, went to some concerts with friends over the summer and the more time I spent with him, the more I fell for him! Fall semester came and we came to the agreement we would try a long distance relationship. That was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I wasn't looking for a relationship, but it just happened!

We go up to the Sierra Mountains camping every summer in Shaver Lake with friends. July 2020 was no different. We were camping with our usual group of friends and Easton planned a horse back ride for just him and I. So we left the group to go take a private horse back riding tour. I didn't think anything of leaving the group because we have done this horse back riding trip before. We were on the trail going through the trees then we turned around a corner onto the lake beach and there are all of our friends, and family(I didn't know our parents were up at the lake!) standing holding signs saying "Will You Marry Me?" It was an easy answer!
