Our all-time favorite place for cocktails in New Orleans (and may have inspired our carousel setting in our engagement photos...)
Another one of our favorite cafes.
One of our favorite museums in New Orleans. It's huge - so allow ample time if you hope to see everything!
Celebrate New Orlean's 300th Anniversary! As part of New Orleans’ tricentennial activities, the Cabildo is hosting the "We Love You, New Orleans!" exhibit. Celebrating the people, places and things that make New Orleans one of the nation’s most unique cities to visitors and residents alike, the exhibition plays as a love letter to the city from the Louisiana State Museum.
A trip to this historic cafe is definitely worth it! Aim to go during off peak hours - such as early early morning, or early evening - to avoid long waits.
The original home of the Hurricane.
A fun way to check out the city! A 3-Day pass is worth it if you purchase in the beginning of your trip - you can use your unlimited pass and the bus route as transport around the city throughout your stay.
Use the historic Street Cars to get around New Orleans! They offer a super affordable, easy, and scenic route to explore City Park, the cemeteries, mansions, galleries, and more.
Our favorite thing to do is take the Street Car up to City Park (on the Canal St. line), and rent bikes to explore! There are tons of things to do, all within the park: - Rent bikes and paddle boats - New Orleans Museum of Art - Carousel Gardens Amusement Park - New Orleans Botanical Gardens - City Putt Mini Golf
Cruise on the Mississippi River! Or watch steamboats come and go from the dock. Stay tuned for details on a possible group outing over the wedding weekend!
FREE Sunrise Yoga at Riverwalk! Wednesdays at 6:30am via the Julia Street entrance.
