Cory and I met at East Stroudsburg University in May of 2010. We remained close friends throughout college, attending the same parties and Greek life activities. After 4 years of friendship, I moved to Manhattan while Cory was still living in Pennsylvania. Cory came to visit me in the city which is when he asked me to be his girlfriend on May 12, 2014 at the Nets vs. Heat game at Barclays Center.
Cory brought me to one of my favorite restaurants in Morristown, "The Town," to have dinner with two of our best friends for my 30th birthday. Little did I know that Cory had big plans for the night. When we got there, Cory was able to sneak upstairs before me. I walked up the stairs to see the floor lined with roses, candles, balloons and Cory asking me to marry him. After Cory proposed, I was surprised again to see more of our friends and family running out from another room to celebrate my 30th and just as surprised to find out we were engaged! Cory had kept it a secret from our friends. This night was everything I could have imagined and more. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the Chateau!
