Sic 'Em Bears!

October 11, 2015

Connor and I met back in October of 2015 at Baylor University. Midterms were approaching which meant the Moody library would turn into the place to be. Me being quite the nerd camped out at a huge table near Starbucks, spreading my folders, notebooks and textbooks all over the six-person table to avoid anyone sitting next to me so I could focus. But then there came Connor. He approached me as I slowly took out my earphones when he asked me if anyone else was sitting with me. He explained all the tables were already full but it seemed I had some space to offer up and that he would buy me a coffee in exchange. I thought he was cute and I was in desperate need of a venti coffee to keep me going so I obliged and moved over my mess of a clutter I had to avoid any human interaction. Little did I know the Lord would bring my biggest blessing in the chaos and stressfulness of midterms. I am overwhelmed with joy that He chose Connor and I to cross paths that day and I am forever blessed to have a godly relationship with Connor.

Why We Chose To Elope

November 08, 2019

When I was little I used to dream about my wedding day and all that comes with it. The big dress, the perfect soulmate (found that one), and my entire wedding day. That dream started to become a reality when I got engaged and I was thankful for the chance to embark on this new adventure with Connor and planning our big day together. Connor and I got engaged on December 29th, 2019 on top of the Panoramic mountain in Winter Park. From that moment, we began to immediately start planning our wedding day. We realized quickly after that God is famous for taking your idea and replacing it with His, because one day- many months into our planning season--it just was not the case for us anymore. After a lot of frustration, tears, stress, pain and misunderstandings we chose to listen to our God. We leaned into His word and He was willing to comfort us in a time of chaos. After choosing to listen to His word--we began to pray about our wedding and what the Lord wanted from us for that day. After praying and asking Him for guidance He showed us that an elopement (quite different than what we wanted) would be the best start for our marriage. On November 8, 2019 Connor and I will be eloping in Colorado with our immediate families. We love our family, our friends, our biggest supporters so we want to Celebrate our day with those loved ones who will not be present for our special day on November 23, 2019 in Austin, Texas. Invitations and RSVPs will be coming within the next couple of months. Please pray for Connor and I as we begin this new season in our lives together. Mark 10:8 "And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh." Love, The Future Case's
