Ramblin' River & Pools (at the Hyatt Resort)
Open from 8 a.m. until midnight, a five-acre water park features a winding, shady lazy river complete with swim-up bar, and outdoor pools, including an activity pool, Texas-shaped pool, and two hot tubs. Little nooks with chaise lounges are tucked away around the grounds and offer relaxing sunning on grassy knolls. An adult-only pool and jacuzzi waterfall is far removed from the noise of the water park, offering more secluded escape.
Hill Country Golf Club (at the Hyatt Resort)
Sprawling over 200 acres, the Hill Country Golf Club offers a scenic, dramatic and balanced 27-hole championship course, featuring four sets of tee placements for every level of golfer. Designed by Arthur Hills and Associates to capture the beauty and landscape of the Texas Hill Country, the Club features diverse terrain, from link-style, rolling-meadows and lush hillsides to tree-shaded plateaus and tranquil lakes and ponds. Booking with the wedding will get a golf discount.

Take a dip in our heated outdoor pool and enjoy a secluded environment surrounded by live oaks, hammocks and swings to relax and clear your mind. The Historic Pearl
Take in The Pearl, a #1 San Antonio hang-out spot. Comprised of distinct, locally-owned restaurants and shops, rent a bike, take a quick drive or a scenic walk to explore The Pearl via the Museum Reach (San Antonio Museum of Art), a rejuvenated stretch of the pedestrian-friendly River Walk. Enjoy the San Antonio sunshine and pass art murals and green spaces en route. Our favorites include Elsewhere Garden (with beautiful outdoor swings overlooking the river), The Bottling Department, and Southerleigh Brewery.
King William & The Southtown Arts District
All signs point South for local art, flavors and fun. Just past the hustle and bustle of downtown, you’ll find the Southtown Arts District. It also includes King William, a Victorian-inspired neighborhood filled with history and charm. Expansive tree-lined Boulevards in King William off of South Alamo Street are perfect for urban walking. The area boasts micro distilleries, parks, a shaded walk on the River, and lots of unique finds. Our favorite spots include Boozy's Creamery (yes... boozy ice cream!), Halcyon Coffee at Blue Star, Dorcol Distillery, and Little Em's Oyster Bar.
The Riverwalk (Paseo Del Rio)
A world-renowned 15-mile urban waterway, The River Walk, or Paseo del Rio, is a San Antonio treasure and the largest urban ecosystem in the nation. Tucked quietly below street level and only steps from the Alamo, it provides a serene and pleasant way to navigate the city. Explore by foot along the river’s walking path or jump aboard a river barge for a ride and guided tour. Our favorite spots along the River Walk include The Esquire, Domingo at the Canopy Hotel, and La Panaderia.
