COVID tho?

Answer

We are definitely taking it seriously and will do everything in our power to make this a safe environment for everyone. The ceremony and reception are entirely outdoors, masks and sanitizer will be available, and the food will have attendants to minimize contact. If you are not vaccinated, we encourage you to get vaccinated before the wedding (Brian and I are Pfizer gals). We are following NOLA COVID protocols which are proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test (available for free around New Orleans). We also ask that vaccinated people still get a test before the wedding as vaccinated people can still contract the virus. Masks will be worn during the ceremony, while getting food or beverages, and if you encounter someone with the distancing wristband (colors TBD.) Remember Delta symptoms are a little different from OG COVID, if you're not feeling well (runny nose, headache, soreness, cough, fever, sore throat) please stay home. Let's have fun and keep our loved ones safe!

Are y'all just registered at Zola? How do I get to the other registries?

We are registered at Williams Sonoma, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Amazon as well as through Zola. Go to the Registry page on this site and you can get to each registry directly if you click on the top bar listing each one or if you scroll down below the Zola items to click the buttons that say "See Registry." Thanks for helping stock our new house!

I do not understand the schedule for the day, can you explain it?

We'd love to! The wedding ceremony and the reception are in Slidell at Palmettos on the Bayou. There will be an official afterparty in the CBD area of New Orleans, invitations and RSVPs will be sent for it specifically. After that all bets are off, but if we're still standing there's a pretty good chance we'll end up in the Quarter.

What exactly am I invited to?

Unfortunately we simply cannot physically fit everyone we know and love into the event in Slidell or the party in the CBD. However, we want to include as many of our friends and family in our special day as possible. Your forthcoming invitations will provide all the information you need. Can we book more than 2 nights at Le Pavillon?

Answer

YOU CAN! The people at Le Pav as I've come to call it are going above and beyond for us and gave us their normal block discount rate instead of the much higher event weekend rate AND they will honor that rate for Thursday the 7th and Sunday the 10th as well! Again, this depends on availability so make your plans soon! If you have an issue booking online for more than 2 nights, give them a call.

Question

I tried booking a room at Le Pavillon but it didn't work, what do I do?

Answer

Let Amanda, Brian, or Beverly know ASAP! It's a festival weekend so this hotel block works a little differently. We can let the hotel know to add more rooms to the block on an as needed basis as long as there are rooms available.
